The Four Things That
Keep You From Playing

These aren't excuses. They're real friction points. The 30-Day Plan is built specifically to remove all four of them.

✗ Problem 01

No clear starting point. You open YouTube, get five different opinions on what to practice first, and close the tab having played nothing. The firehose of online content is the problem, not the solution.

✗ Problem 02

Sessions that go nowhere. You sit down with good intentions. Twenty minutes later you've noodled the same three licks and you're not sure what you actually practiced. No structure means no progress.

✗ Problem 03

The guilt spiral. You miss a day. Then two. Then you feel like you have to start all over. The pressure of "I should practice" becomes a reason to avoid the guitar entirely.

✗ Problem 04

Gear distraction. A new pedal or guitar feels like practicing. It isn't. The 30-Day Plan is built entirely around the guitar you already own. No new gear required.

Honest Assessment

Is This For You?

This Is For You If...

  • You've played before and want to get consistent again
  • You own a guitar and an amp (or headphone solution)
  • You can carve out 15 minutes most days
  • You like rock, classic rock, 80s/90s rock, or blues rock
  • You want structure without a 50-lesson course
  • You're tired of random YouTube browsing going nowhere
  • You want to feel like a guitar player again

This Is NOT For You If...

  • You've never picked up a guitar in your life
  • You want to read music theory (this is riff-first)
  • You're looking for 200 lessons and a full curriculum
  • You play jazz, fingerstyle, or classical guitar
  • You practice 2+ hours a day already and have no rust
"You don't need a new guitar. You don't need another course. You need 15 minutes, the guitar you already own, and something specific to do with both. That's the whole idea."

Frequently Asked Questions

What skill level is this for?
Rusty beginner to intermediate. If you've played before — even years ago — this is built for you. You should know what a power chord is and roughly how to hold a pick. Total beginners who have never touched a guitar might find week one a bit fast. But if you've played before, even a little, you're in the right place.
What gear do I need?
A guitar. An amp, headphone amp, or audio interface. A tuner. That's it. You don't need any pedals. You don't need a new guitar. You don't need anything you don't already have, as long as you can plug in and hear yourself play. The tone recipes in the plan work on any basic setup.
What style of music is this?
Rock. Specifically classic rock, 80s rock, blues rock, and hard rock. All riffs are original — no copyrighted tabs — but they're written in the spirit of the music most adult players grew up loving. If your guitar heroes include any combination of Hendrix, Clapton, Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, or Kurt Cobain, you're in the right place.
What if I miss a day?
Pick up where you left off. The 30-Day Plan is not a program that resets if you miss a session. Life happens. Miss a day, play the next one. Miss three days, play when you can. The point is momentum, not perfection. This is addressed directly in week one.
Is this a subscription?
No. This is a one-time purchase. You buy it once, you own it. No recurring charge. The plan includes an invitation to join RiffRoom Monthly (the membership) but that's completely separate and optional.
What's the "founding edition" thing?
The first 100 buyers get the plan at $19. After that it goes to $29. Founding buyers also get all future updates to the plan at no extra charge — if we add new riffs, new backing tracks, or expand the content, you get it automatically.
What happens after 30 days?
You'll be playing better, more consistently, and with a clearer sense of what to work on next. The plan's final week includes a "what comes next" guide. And if you want a monthly shot of new riffs, tabs, tone recipes, and gear picks, RiffRoom Monthly will be waiting for you.

Your Guitar Has Been Waiting.

Less scrolling. More riffs. That's the whole deal.
